Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extends from the western Atlantic to the
northeast Gulf. This pattern will support fresh SE to S winds across
the southeast Gulf region Mon night. The high pressure will shift
eastward ahead of the next cold front expected to move off the 
Texas coast late Sun. Winds will shift NW to N by Tue as the front
moves across the southeast Gulf.

.SUN...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge extends along roughly 29N from 1025 
mb high pressure located near 29N65W. This pattern will support
moderate to fresh SE to S winds across the region through Sun
night. The ridge will then shift eastward ahead of a cold front
approaching the area from the west. Winds will increase and veer 
SW then NW by late Tue as the front moves over the region. Looking
ahead, winds will diminish and shift to more E to SE again into
mid week as high pressure builds in the wake of the front.
