Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure is centered across eastern Texas,
leading to quiescent marine conditions that will prevail through
Fri. Fresh to strong SE to S winds and scattered thunderstorms
are expected to develop over the western Gulf Fri night, then
shift east into Sun, in advance of a cold front. By Sun night,
this cold front is expected to move E of the Gulf, with strong
to possibly gale-force W to NW winds along with rough seas
expanding across much of the basin Mon through Mon night.

.TODAY...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...NE to E winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SE 20 to 25 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN...S winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to SW to W 15 to 20 kt in

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure W of Bermuda will strengthen as it moves
ESE along and just N of 31N through Fri, before lifting NE away 
from area waters. Strong to gale- force cyclonic winds and rough 
to very rough seas will accompany this broad low pressure for 
waters N of 24N into Fri. Another cold front will move SE across 
northern waters Fri night into Sat night, bringing fresh to strong
W winds on both sides of the front, N of 28N into Sun. Low 
pressure and a new frontal system will move across the NW waters 
Mon. 

.TODAY...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft in N to NE
swell. 
.FRI...S of 27N, NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE in
the afternoon. N of 27N, W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to
5 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...N winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 10 to
