Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge extends southwestward from a high
over the Carolinas coast to near Tampico, Mexico. This will
support gentle to moderate E to SE winds for the entire Gulf
through early Fri morning. Afterward, a cold front will sink
southward across the northern Gulf, reaching from the Florida
Big Bend to western Bay of Campeche by Fri morning, and from the
Florida Straits to eastern Bay of Campeche by Fri afternoon.
Fresh to near-gale winds and rough seas will follow behind the
front. For early next week, strong high pressure in the wake of 
the front should keep fresh to strong winds across the entire 
Gulf.

.FRI...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to W to NW 10 to 15 kt
in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in the
afternoon. Scattered showers.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends southwestward from east of 
Bermuda across 31N55W to 28N65W, then continues as a stationary 
front to western Cuba. By tonight, the entire front will become 
stationary and then lift northward as a warm front ahead of the 
next cold front forecast to enter the northeast Florida offshore
waters on Fri. This second front will cause winds and seas to 
build once again north of 27N into early next week. High pressure 
building east of the front is going to keep fresh winds and 
moderate to rough seas near the southeast Bahamas, Greater 
Antilles and Leeward Islands through Fri. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers. 
.FRI...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft.
