Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending across the Yucatan
Channel will lift north as a dissipating warm front over the
eastern Gulf today. Meanwhile, a cold front reaches
southwestward from near New Orleans, Louisiana to Brownsville,
Texas. It will gradually push southeastward across the Gulf
through Tue night. A weak low pressure will form along this
front over the central Gulf, and track northeastward. In
response, fresh to locally strong northerly winds and rough seas 
are anticipated for the east-central and southeastern Gulf late 
Tue night through Wed. Looking ahead, another front will enter the
northern Gulf Fri and move southward across the Gulf through late
Fri night into early Sat morning, followed by fresh to strong 
northerly winds and moderate to rough seas. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 5 ft in the afternoon. Scattered showers. 
.TUE NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.WED...N to NE winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from southeast of Bermuda
across 31N64W and the northwest Bahamas to the Florida Straits. 
Later today, the portion of this boundary north of 27N will 
resume moving eastward as a cold front, while the portion south 
of 27N will lift northward as a dissipating warm front. Meanwhile,
another front will move off the northeast Florida coast Tue, and 
reach from Bermuda to central Cuba by late Wed, causing winds and 
seas to build north of 27N.
