Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The strong low pressure that was affecting the Gulf
region crossed north Florida and now is NE of the area near the
coast of South Carolina. An area of strong to minimal gale force
NW winds is still noted over the NE Gulf. This winds will
diminish below gale force by this evening, allowing for marine
conditions to gradually improve. High pressure will be in
control of the weather pattern across the Gulf waters the
remainder of the work-week. By mid-week, strengthening high 
pressure N of the region will bring fresh to strong NE winds 
across the eastern Gulf, including the Straits of Florida.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from a 990 mb low pressure
located N of area near 32N80W to central Cuba near 23N80W. SE to
S minimal storm force winds are ahead of the front N of 30N to
about 77W, with a large area of gale force winds covering the
waters N of 26.5N and E of front to 72W. The storm force winds
are forecast to diminish to gale force by this evening. Behind 
the front, NW gales will also develop N of 27N early this evening.
Scattered to numerous strong thunderstorms are ahead of the low 
and the cold front forecast to reach from 31N69W to eastern Cuba 
by Mon afternoon, and from 31N68W to the N coast of Hispaniola 
near 20N70W by Tue afternoon. Then, the front will then move 
slowly E into the middle of the week as high pressure builds 
behind it. Gales ahead of the front will persist through Mon night
while gale behind the front are expected through late tonight.
