Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends the Florida Big Bend to the
central Bay of Campeche. Gale force winds are ongoing off the
coast of Veracruz, Mexico. By this evening, the cold front will
stretch from near Fort Myers, Florida, to the northern tip of
the Yucatan Peninsula. Strong winds and rough seas in the wake of
the front over the western Gulf will subside tonight into Thu, 
when the front will stall from the Florida Everglades to the 
Yucatan Channel.

afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Slight chance of tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure centered E of the area near 29N50W has
a potential for subtropical or tropical development this week,
but will continue moving SE away from the region. Large N swell 
associated with this system will impact the Lesser Antilles, 
Puerto Rico, and adjacent Atlantic passes through late week. Fresh
to strong winds are developing offshore northern Florida this 
morning in advance of the next cold front that will push off the 
Florida coast later today. As this cold front crosses the region 
through the end of the week, strong winds and seas of 8 to 10 ft 
will impact waters on both sides of the front, N of 28N. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers.
