Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front that extends from just S of the
Florida Big Bend to the central Gulf near 25N91W will dissipate
later today. High pressure will build in its wake, with mainly
gentle N winds over the basin today becoming E by tonight.
Southerly winds will form Mon and increase to fresh in the
western Gulf. The next cold front will move off the Texas coast
Mon night, with gales expected to develop over the west-central
and SW Gulf Tue through Wed. 

.TODAY...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.MON...E to SE winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 1003 mb is located near 29N73W with
a trough extending to central Cuba. The low will move N of area 
today, with the trough evolving into a cold front. As the low 
moves N of the area, S winds ahead of the front will gradually 
diminish, but fresh NW to N winds will develop NW of the cold 
front.
