Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough in the central Gulf will shift
east ahead of a cold front expected to move off the Texas coast
into the northwest Gulf late tonight and early Fri morning. The
front will reach from the Sabine Pass to near Tampico, Mexico by
late Sat, then stall from near Panama City, Florida to about
90 nm off the mouth of the Rio Grande, then southward to
Veracruz, Mexico. Fresh NE to E winds will follow the front over 
the NW Gulf starting Sat night, and increasing Tue as high
pressure builds north of the area.

subsiding to 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure along 30N will shift 
eastward through the weekend, ahead of a cold front expected to
move into the waters between northeast Florida and Bermuda early
in the week. Looking ahead, strong winds and building seas will 
follow the cold front over the waters west of 70W Sun night 
through Tue night. 

.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft after midnight. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt N
