Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough over the southeast Gulf will drift
into the western Gulf early next week and dissipate. Meanwhile,
weak high pressure will persist over the north-central and
northeast Gulf. This pattern will support gentle to moderate NE
to E winds and slight seas across the basin through the middle
of next week.  

.TODAY...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Ophelia remains well north of the
area off the coast of North Carolina, and will continue to move
northward and farther away from the forecast region. Large 
northerly swell on the southern periphery of Ophelia will
continue to impact the waters off northeast Florida through the
morning. A weak ridge will build in the wake of Ophelia off
Florida through  early next week, and a trough will persist
across the Bahamas through Mon. 

.TODAY...E winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N seas 8 to 12 ft in N to NE 
swell subsiding to 5 to 7 ft. S of 27N seas 4 to 6 ft in N to NE
swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered
