Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will be in control of the weather
pattern across the Gulf waters allowing for generally gentle to
moderate east to southeast winds and slight seas, except pulsing
to moderate to fresh offshore the western Yucatan Peninsula in
the evenings. Developing low pressure east of Florida will
tighten the pressure gradient over the NE Gulf bringing moderate
to locally fresh NE winds across the NE Gulf tonight into Fri. A
frontal trough associated with the aforementioned low pressure
will move across the southeastern Gulf and the Straits of
Florida Thu night into Fri.  

.TODAY...Variable winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft in SE to S
swell. Winds and seas higher in and near numerous showers and 
thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered showers
and thunderstorms. 
.FRI...Variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming N 10 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms. 
.SAT...Variable winds less than 5 kt S of 24N, and NE 10 kt N of
24N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from just south of 
Bermuda to 29N73W and to inland Florida just south of Daytona 
Beach will lift northward on Fri as low pressure develops along 
it to the east of northern Florida, and where frequent gusts to 
gale force are possible tonight and into Fri. This non-tropical 
low pressure system could acquire some subtropical
characteristics on Fri while it moves generally northward. In
its wake, high  pressure ridging will build from E to W just
north of the  forecast waters into early next week.

N of 27N, E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Winds and 
seas higher in and near scattered showers and thunderstorms.
.THU...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NE 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. Scattered 
showers and thunderstorms.
.THU NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.FRI...S of 27N, NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N in the
afternoon. N of 27N, NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft in 
NE swell S of 27N and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N. Isolated showers and 
thunderstorms.
