Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge across the northern Gulf will dominate
the basin through Tue, supporting mainly moderate or weaker
winds along with slight seas. Winds will pulse to moderate to
fresh W-NW of the Yucatan Peninsula each evening. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NW to N winds 5 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E late.
Seas 2 ft or less. Chance of tstms. 
.SAT...E winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to NW in the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Lee will continue to move N away from the
area today, while associated large northerly swell gradually
decays through the weekend. Newly formed Tropical Depression 
Fifteen is near 14.4N 43.8W at 11 AM EDT, and is moving northwest 
at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt, 
and the minimum central pressure is 1007 mb. Fifteen will 
strengthen to a tropical storm near 15.5N 44.7W this evening, move
to 17.2N 46.0W Sat morning, 18.9N 47.9W Sat evening, 20.5N 49.6W 
Sun morning, strengthen to a hurricane near 22.0N 51.2W Sun 
evening, and 23.4N 52.9W Mon morning. Fifteen will change little 
in intensity as it moves to 26.0N 56.8W early Tue. Otherwise, high
pres will prevail across the waters through the weekend. A weak
cold front may move off the SE U.S. coast early next week. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S of 27N, NE winds less than 5 kt in the
afternoon. N of 27N, N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of 27N.
