Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough over the central Gulf will
drift westward as high pressure continues to build over the Gulf
waters through the upcoming weekend. Gentle to moderate winds
will persist through early next week with slight seas.  

.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Idalia is near 33.5N 73.5W at 
5 PM EDT, and is moving east at 18 kt. Maximum sustained winds 
are 55 kt with gusts to 65 kt, and the minimum central pressure
is 994 mb. Idalia is forecast to become again a tropical cyclone
by Sat afternoon when the center is forecast to be near 30.9N
65.9W. Gale force winds and rough to very rough seas associated 
with the southern periphery of Idalia will impact the north waters
tonight and Fri. Moderate to rough seas generated by Hurricane 
Franklin will continue to propagate across the NE waters through 
Fri. 

.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE after
midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NE 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
