Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Idalia continues to pull farther east
away from the Gulf of Mexico. As a result, high pressure will
continue to build over the Gulf. Gentle to moderate winds will
persist through early next week with slight seas.  

.TODAY...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Idalia is near 33.6N 78.0W at 5 AM 
EDT, and is moving east-northeast at 18 kt. Maximum sustained 
winds are 50 kt with gusts to 60 kt, and the minimum central 
pressure is 991 mb. Fresh to locally strong winds and moderate
seas associated with the outer periphery of Idalia off the NE 
Florida coast will improve by tonight. Gentle to moderate winds 
and slight to moderate seas can be expected Fri through early next
week. 

.TODAY...SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
