Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface ridge will remain the dominant
feature across the basin through early next week. This will
support gentle to moderate winds, except over the eastern Bay of
Campeche, where winds will be enhanced by a thermal trough that
will emerge off the Yucatan Peninsula each night.  

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to
2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered over the central Atlantic
will gradually shift eastward through the weekend as a surface 
trough along 80W moves slowly west-northwestward into Florida
and southeastern U.S. coasts over the next few days. Active
weather will continue with and SE of this trough. 

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
