Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will remain in control of the weather
pattern across the Gulf waters through the forecast period
supporting mainly gentle to moderate winds, except over the Bay
of Campeche where winds will be enhanced by a thermal trough
coming off the Yucatan Peninsula during the night hours.  

.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E in the

.SYNOPSIS...Surface high pressure will prevail across the forecast
waters this week. This will support mainly moderate to locally 
fresh E to SE winds, except for fresh to strong winds and rough 
seas N of Hispaniola at night through Thu night. 

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft after
midnight. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
