Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will continue to dominate the Gulf waters,
through early next week, while a trough will develop over the
Yucatan Peninsula each evening and move offshore. This pattern
will maintain moderate to fresh winds pulsing north and west of
the Yucatan peninsula during the late afternoon and evening
hours. Elsewhere, gentle to moderate winds and slight seas will
prevail.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 10 kt S of 24N, and variable less than
5 kt N of 24N. Seas 2 to 3 ft in S swell. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 kt in the morning, becoming variable less
than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.SAT...SE winds 10 kt in the morning, becoming variable less than

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will persist northeast of the Bahamas 
through Sun. Farther south, the northern end of a tropical wave 
will move westward across the waters south of 22N through Fri. 
Expect fresh to strong NE to E winds and rough seas south of 22N
both ahead of and following the tropical wave. Looking ahead,
the ridge will shift northward early next week ahead of another 
tropical wave that will be approaching the area.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S less
than 5 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and 
thunderstorms from 27N to 29N between 76W and 80W. Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms elsewhere N of 27N W of 71W.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated 
thunderstorms S of 27N. Isolated showers and thunderstorms N of
27N.
