Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will continue to dominate the Gulf waters
while a trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each
evening and move offshore. Under this weather pattern, moderate
to fresh winds will pulse north and west of the Yucatan peninsula
during the late afternoon and evening hours. Elsewhere, gentle to
moderate anticyclonic flow and slight seas will prevail. 

.TODAY...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE after midnight.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will remain in place across the forecast
waters while weakening some by Wed as a developing low pressure
moves SE and crosses near the NE waters. Fresh W to NW winds and 
seas to 8 ft, in association with the low, are expected to impact 
the NE waters tonight into Wed. The northern end of a tropical 
wave is forecast to affect the waters north of the Leeward 
Islands and Puerto Rico on Wed, and north of Hispaniola, 
including approaches to the Windward Passage by Wed night. In 
addition, an area of fresh to locally strong E winds are 
expected off Hispaniola over the next several days. Light to 
gentle winds will persist along the ridge axis. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, W 
winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S to SW after midnight. Seas 3 ft 
in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and 
isolated tstms. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 5 to 10 kt N 
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5
