Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure gradient between a ridge across the
Gulf waters and low pressure over Texas and NE Mexico will
support moderate to fresh SE winds and moderate seas across the
western Gulf through Thu. Moderate to fresh NE to E winds are
also expected near and to the NW of the Yucatan Peninsula mainly
at night through the forecast period. Elsewhere, gentle to
moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail.

.OVERNIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft
or less. 
.WED...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered over the central Atlantic
extends a ridge across the forecast waters producing a gentle to
moderate anticyclonic flow N of 22N and moderate to fresh 
easterly winds S of 22N. Little change of this weather pattern
is expected this week. A cold front is forecast to clip the NW 
waters Wed night into Thu. As a result, expect fresh to locally 
strong S to SW winds and seas to near 8 ft over the N waters, 
mainly N of 29N and W of 70W. 

.OVERNIGHT...S of 27N, SE winds 5 to 10 kt after midnight. N of
27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight. 
.WED...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms.
