Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...An upper level-trough is producing numerous thunderstorms over the western part of the southeastern Gulf. This activity is shifting eastward. Surface low pressure could form over the south-central Gulf tonight or Wed, and is expected to meander over the eastern Gulf during the next several days. Environmental conditions appear only marginally favorable for additional development during this time. Moderate winds are forecast in the area, but the numerous thunderstorms will likely be attendant by strong winds. Enhanced showers and thunderstorms are likely across most of the the eastern half of the Gulf Wed into Fri.
