Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will dominate the weather pattern
across the Gulf waters this week producing mainly light to
gentle winds and slight seas. Gentle to moderate westerly winds
are expected over the NE Gulf today and tonight as a cold front
approaches the Gulf coast.

.TODAY...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW after midnight.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...W to NW winds 5 kt, shifting to N to NE less than
5 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...N winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front has dissipated this morning and
high pressure is building across the area. This will bring
gentle to moderate southerly winds across the majority of the
area  through Sat. A low pressure area is forecast to develop
along a  frontal boundary just off the SE US by tonight. This
system is  forecast to move toward Cape Hatteras by Fri, with
strong winds  and rough seas expected to remain north of 31N, in
the Ocean Prediction Center's area of responsibility. 

.TODAY...SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SAT...NE to E winds less than 5 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in NE swell
in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
