Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will dominate the weather pattern
across the Gulf waters this week producing mainly light to
gentle winds and slight seas. However, winds and seas could be
higher near showers and thunderstorms. Gentle to moderate
westerly winds are expected over the NE Gulf Wed and Wed night
as a cold front approaches the area. Gentle to moderate NE to E
winds are forecast at night near and NW of the Yucatan Peninsula
through Thu night increasing to moderate to fresh speeds Fri
night and Sat night.  

.TONIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to SW late. Seas 2 ft
or less. 
.WED...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N to NE late.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...NE winds less than 5 kt,  shifting to W to NW in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front over the NE waters will lift 
northward by tonight. A surface trough near the central Bahamas 
will dissipate by tonight as high pressure builds westward
across the forecast region bringing gentle to moderate southerly
winds. A low pres area is forecast to develop along a frontal
boundary just off SE US by Wed night. This system is forecast to 
move toward Cape Hatteras by Fri. The strongest winds and the 
highest seas associated with this system will remain N of the 
forecast area. 

.TONIGHT...S of 27N, NE to E winds less than 5 kt, shifting to S
late. N of 27N, E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S 10 to
15 kt late. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N. 
.WED...SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N. 
.WED NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 5 to 10 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
