Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The tail end of an Atlantic cold front across E Gulf
will progress SE, clearing the basin Thu. High pressure will
dominate the Gulf waters the remainder of the week producing
mainly gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
Fresh to locally strong winds will pulse near and to the NW of
the Yucatan Peninsula each night into the early morning hours
during the forecast period.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N70W to West Palm
Beach, FL will continue to propagate SE, reaching from 31N65W to
south Florida late tonight, and from 31N62W to the central 
Bahamas Thu morning. As the front progresses, fresh to strong 
winds are expected on either side of the boundary through Thu, 
confined mostly north of 27N. In the wake of the front, weak high 
pressure will rebuild over the SE US, bringing light winds to the 
far western Atlantic by Thu morning. Looking ahead, a weak low may
develop off the SE US by Sun. 

.OVERNIGHT...S of 27N, NW winds 5 to 10 kt late. N of 27N, NW to
N winds 10 to 15 kt late. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to
5 ft N of 27N.
