Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front from the Florida panhandle to
the Yucatan peninsula will continue to move eastward, pushing
east of the basin today. Strong to near gale-force winds with
frequent gusts to gale force along the eastern Gulf coast will 
diminish this afternoon. High pressure will build in the wake of 
the front, and become centered over the eastern Gulf Mon through 
Wed. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in W
to NW swell. 
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in W to NW
swell. 
.MON...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft in W to NW swell. 
.MON NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE after
midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S in the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front has entered the western Atlantic
this morning, extending from 31N80W to 29N81W. Strong to gale- 
force southerly winds will prevail ahead of the front to the N
of 28N and W of 70W, as well as in the coastal waters S of 28N, 
through early this evening. The front will then gradually weaken 
and slow early this week. The next front, weaker in intensity, may
move across the northern waters by mid-week.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW to W winds 25 to 30 kt with frequent gusts to 
gale force within 60 nm of the coast. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered 
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.MON...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...S of 27N, NW winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, SW to W
winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 20 to 25 kt after midnight. Seas
3 to 5 ft.
