Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front currently across the southern Gulf
States should lift northward as a warm front starting Thu 
afternoon, which will cause fresh to locally strong southerly 
winds at the central Gulf thru Fri night. Afterward, a strong 
cold front is forecast to enter the western Gulf Sat afternoon, 
then move eastward thru early next week. This will bring fresh to
strong southerly winds to the southeastern Gulf early next week. 
Seas will range from moderate to rough during the cold front 
passage. 

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon. 
.THU NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.FRI...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers.

.SYNOPSIS...A modest 1017 mb Bermuda high should dominate the 
western Atlantic through Fri morning. A cold front exiting the
Carolinas coast will bring fresh southerly winds and slightly 
higher seas east of northern Florida Fri through Sat. Looking 
ahead, a new robust cold front is anticipated to move off the US 
east coast on Mon, causing fresh to strong southerly winds and 
building seas north of 25N.
