Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered just offshore the Mid-Atlantic
coast will shift eastward into the western Atlantic through Thu 
night while intensifying some. This will allow for winds over the
southeastern waters to become southeast to south at moderate to 
fresh speeds through Sat night. Winds become moderate to fresh 
south to southwest Sat through Sun night as a cold front 
approaches the eastern Gulf.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak stationary front that extends from offshore 
northeast Florida to inland northern Florida will lift northward 
as a warm front tonight. Fresh to locally strong southerly winds 
are expected to develop offshore northern Florida beginning late 
this week in advance of an approaching cold front. This next 
cold front is expected to approach the southeastern U.S. coast 
Sat and Sat night, then push offshore to the waters east of 
northeast Florida late Sun night. Fresh to strong south to 
southwest winds will precede the front along with building seas. 
In the longer term, an intensifying low pressure system over the 
central Atlantic is expected to bring fresh to strong west to 
northwest winds to the northeast part of the forecast waters Fri 
into early Sat. Seas are forecast to build to 14 ft over this 
part of the area late Fri into Sat.
