Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure along the southeastern U.S. seaboard
will continue to support moderate to fresh SE to S return flow
over the Gulf of Mexico through Fri. By Sun morning a dissipating
front will extend from southwestern Florida to near the Texas- 
Mexico border. High will be over the remainder of the area.

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...S of 24N, E winds 10 kt in the late evening and
early morning, becoming variable less than 5 kt. N of 24N,
variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming SE to S 10 kt early in
the morning. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SAT...S of 24N, N to NE winds 10 kt early in the evening.
Variable winds less than 5 kt in the late morning and early
afternoon. N of 24N, variable less than 5 kt. Seas 3 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure along a trough is likely to develop by 
Fri night east of the Bahamas and drift southward through Sun 
while weakening. A tight gradient will develop between high
pressure to the north and the low. This will increase the trade 
winds to fresh to strong speeds between Bermuda and the Bahamas 
from Fri night through late Sat night, and along with seas 
building to 8 to 11 ft. Seas subside late Sat night. A weak cold
front is expected to move off the coast of northeast Florida Sat 
night, then dissipate north of the Bahamas by Mon. Moderate N 
swell is anticipated to impact the northern waters east of 60W 
beginning on Sat.

20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
