Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak ridging extends from southwest Florida to
southeast Louisiana. The ridge will shift east today ahead of a
cold front that is forecast to enter the northwest Gulf tonight.
The front will move southeastward across much of the Gulf and
reach from Fort Myers, Florida to Tampico, Mexico by Sun night.
Fresh N winds and building seas are likely behind the front over 
southeast Gulf Sun night and Mon. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. Scattered showers. 
.SUN NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak trough over the central Bahamas will dissipate
late today. A cold front will move offshore of northeast Florida 
Sun night or early Mon morning, continues slowly to the southeast,
reaching from Bermuda to the Straits of Florida by late Tue, 
before stalling and dissipating through mid week. High pressure 
will build in the wake of the front between Bermuda and northeast 
Florida through late Wed.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas
3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers. 
.SUN NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
midnight. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
