Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 29N83W to 25N93W. The
front will move slowly SE over the central and eastern Gulf
through tonight while weakening. Fresh to locally strong NE-E
winds are expected behind the front in the N-central and NE Gulf
through mid-week. Low pres may develop along the remnants of the
front in the central Gulf Tue, deepen through Wed night, then
lift northward and inland on Thu.  

.TODAY...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.MON...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...An elongated trough from 29.5N70W to the central
Bahamas will dissipate later this morning. A strong cold front 
from 31N79.5W to 29.5N81W will usher in gale-force winds behind it
behind beginning around sunrise today. The front will then move 
SE, reaching from near Bermuda to central Florida tonight, and 
from 31N62W to S Florida by Mon evening. The gale-force winds will
spread SE reaching to N of 28N and W of 70W before diminishing 
early Mon. Meanwhile storm-force winds will be N of 31N. Very 
large seas to around 20 ft will accompany these winds. The front 
is expected to stall and gradually weaken along 24N/25N by mid- 
week.

.TODAY...S of 27N, S to SW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NW
in the afternoon, Seas 2 ft or less. N of 27N, SW to W winds
10 to 15 kt, becoming NE 25 to 35 kt after sunrise. Seas 3 to 5 
ft, building to 6 to 10 ft behind front.
.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 25 to 35 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 8 to 14 ft N of 27N.
