Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure that extends from the U.S. eastern
seaboard to across the area is maintaining fresh E trades in the
Straits of Florida and moderate to fresh winds over the SE Gulf.
The fresh E to SE winds will expand over the entire area later
tonight through Fri morning as the high pressure shifts eastward 
in response to a weakening cold front that will move across the NE
Gulf over the weekend. The fresh winds will diminish late Fri 
night. Atlantic high pressure will build southwestward over the 
area early next week. 

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Isolated
showers. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Isolated
showers. 
.SAT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE after midnight.
Seas 3 to 4 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less.

.SUN NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 25N65W to the central 
Bahamas will slowly move southeastward through Fri, reaching along
22N/23N before it weakens and dissipates Sat. High pressure 
building in the wake of the front is producing fresh northeast to
east winds north of the front. These winds will increase to fresh
to strong Fri from the central Bahamas eastward, then begin to 
diminish late Fri night. Fresh to strong southwest winds will 
develop over the waters offshore northeastern Florida Fri night in
advance of the next cold front that will move off the coast of 
the southeastern U.S. Sat evening. This cold front will move 
southeast, become stationary from near 31N59W to 27N68W and to 
26N73W by Mon night, then weaken through Tue night. The fresh to 
strong southwest winds ahead of the front will shift eastward 
across the waters north of about 29N through Sun.
