Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging extending into the eastern 
Gulf of Mexico from the western Atlantic will slowly shift south 
through late Mon. Mostly moderate southeast to south winds will 
continue across the forecast waters through Mon, then becoming 
gentle east to southeast through Wed night. A cold front may 
possibly reach from the southeastern Gulf to the central Gulf, 
where it may stall with its western part lifting northward as a 
warm front by late Wed. Moderate to fresh NE to E winds will 
follow in behind the front.

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening stationary front extends from near 24N55W
to 23N60W. High pressure will change little through the weekend, 
then shift slightly southward next week as a cold front moves 
across the waters north of the Bahamas. The cold front will be 
followed and preceded by fresh to strong winds and building 
seas. Winds are expected to attain near gale-force speeds on 
either side of the front north of 29N by late Wed as the front 
reaches from near 31N60W to the central Bahamas and to east- 
central Cuba.
