Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The cold front has moved farther southeast into
northwestern Cuba and the Caribbean Sea. In response, northerly
winds have decreased to between moderate and fresh at the east- 
central Gulf. A similar trend is also expected for the 
southeastern Gulf by early this afternoon. Seas should also 
subside to moderate by this evening. Afterward, high pressure 
building southward from the Gulf States will sustain moderate to 
occasionally fresh easterly winds at the southeastern Gulf through
Thu.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends southwestward from west of 
Bermuda across 31N70W through northwestern Cuba this morning. 
This front will briefly stall from Bermuda to central Cuba today
before moving eastward again later tonight. By early this 
afternoon, fresh to occasional strong northerly winds and rough 
seas are expected behind this front west of 77W and north of 27N.
Afterward, both winds and seas will gradually subside Tue and Tue
night as the front shifts eastward across the western Atlantic.
