Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure along the Carolina coasts extends
weakly SW into the central Gulf tonight. A cold front is
forecast to enter the Gulf region Fri, and move over the
northern Gulf waters by Fri night, reaching from near Tampa Bay
to NW Gulf early on Sat, then dissipate by early Sat evening.
The next cold front will likely enter the NW Gulf Sun night into
Mon. This front is forecast to reach the far southern Gulf Tue
and exit the Gulf Tue evening. Fresh to strong winds and
building seas are expected in the wake of this front.

.FRI...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.FRI NIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Chance of tstms. 
.SAT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. Isolated showers. 
.SAT NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon. 
.SUN NIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.MON...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from near 22N50W W-SW through 
the northern Leeward Islands to the Caribbean coastal waters of 
Puerto Rico and Hispaniola and will continue to sink southward 
through Fri night and weaken. Large NW to N swell in the wake of
the front is producing seas of 12-17 ft to the N of 20N and E of 
about 72W tonight, and will dominate regional waters through Fri 
night before beginning to subside. Looking ahead, the next cold 
front is forecast to move off the southeastern U.S. coast by Fri 
afternoon, bringing strong to near gale-force SW to W winds ahead 
of it to waters east of Florida. This front will move eastward 
across the area during the weekend, with minimal gale-force winds 
possible ahead of the front. Yet another cold front is expected to
move off the southeastern U.S. coast Sun night and reach from 
near 31N68W to eastern Cuba by late Tue.

5 to 10 kt, becoming S 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas 4 to

.FRI NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers and slight chance of
tstms. 
.SAT...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Chance of showers.
