Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Florida Big Bend to
28N86W then becomes stationary to 20N94W, and will stall later
today. Fresh SW winds and rough seas southeast of the front will
diminish today. Benign winds and seas will then continue into
the middle of the coming week as high pressure prevails NE of
the basin. 

.TODAY...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE after
midnight. Seas 4 to 6 ft in S to SW swell. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.MON...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TUE...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging extends from the central Atlantic
westward along 23N-24N through the Bahamas and into the SE Gulf
of Mexico. Fresh to strong S to SW winds will prevail offshore 
Florida and N of the Bahamas through tonight ahead of a cold
front forecast to exit the U.S. southeast coast late today.
Afterward,  fresh to strong SW winds will shift eastward this
weekend, ahead  of the front, remaining north of 29N as the
surface ridge settles  along 24N. The ridge will reform NE of
the Bahamas late Mon through Tue as the front dissipates along
24N. Large NW swell will impact the NE waters behind the front
late Sun through Wed.

.TODAY...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in SE to S swell. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SUN...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE to E
