Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 30N87W to 23N93W, then
becomes stationary from that point to a 1004 mb low pres
centered near 19N94W. Strong to near-gale force NW winds will
continue over Bay of Campeche through early part of the night.
Fresh NW winds are behind the front over the remainder of the
basin. The front will stall on Sat. Winds and seas will subside
by Sat afternoon. Benign winds and seas will then continue into
early next week.  

.TONIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.SAT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE after
midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging extends eastward from the Bahamas
across the central Atlantic. Strong S winds will prevail
offshore Florida and N of the Bahamas through tonight ahead of a
cold front forecast to exit the U.S. southeast coast early Sat.
Afterward, fresh to strong SW winds will progress eastward this 
weekend ahead of the front, remaining north of 29N as the
surface ridge settles along 24N. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 20 to 25 kt
N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in SE to S swell. 
.SAT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
