Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong SE to S winds will increase to 
strong to near-gale force late tonight through Fri, ahead of a 
cold front forecast to move off the Texas coast tonight. The front
will reach from Apalachicola, FL to the central Bay of Campeche 
Fri evening before stalling and weakening later Fri night into 
early Sat. Winds and seas should subside by Sat. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI...S winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SAT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE after
midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging prevails across the area, with 
moderate to fresh anticyclonic winds. Southerly winds will
increase to fresh tonight east of Florida, and become strong Fri
through Fri night ahead of a cold front forecast to exit the
U.S. southeast coast Fri night. By Sat night, ridging will build 
in across the area along 25N.

.FRI...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and S 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
