Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will continue to dominate the Gulf waters
through tonight. Expect southerly winds, gentle to moderate for
the east-central and southeastern Gulf. This moist southerly flow
will continue to favor the development of marine fog across the 
northeastern Gulf early this morning and tonight. Southerly flow 
will increase and reach fresh to strong by Thu, ahead of a cold 
front forecast to move eastward across the Gulf late Thu night and
Fri. These winds will reach near-gale force across the east-central
Gulf. This front is anticipated to stall and weaken across the 
east-central Gulf on Sat, which should allow both winds and seas 
to gradually subside.

.TODAY...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Patchy fog 
until mid morning. Vsby 3 NM north of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.THU...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will progress eastward across the 
western Atlantic waters today, maintaining moderate to locally 
fresh westerly winds and moderate seas east of Florida. Looking 
ahead, another cold front is forecast to exit the U.S. southeast 
coast on Fri and track eastward. It will bring southerly winds at 
strong to near-gale force east of Florida, moderate to fresh 
across northwest Bahamas along with moderate to rough seas Fri 
afternoon through Sat morning. Afterward, winds and seas will
gradually subside this weekend.

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after midnight.
