Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A modest surface ridge stretching from central
Florida to near the Texas-Mexico border will sustain gentle to
moderate easterly winds at the southeastern Gulf. Looking ahead, 
a weak cold front may emerge off of the Texas and Louisiana coast 
on Mon. Fresh SW winds are expected ahead of the front with only 
moderate or weaker winds behind the front on Mon and Tue.

.FRI...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge between the Bahamas and
Bermuda will help maintain moderate winds near the Bahamas 
through Sat night. A stronger cold front will move across the 
western Atlantic waters near 28N Fri night, extend from near 
31N55W to 28N65W to 31N78W Sat morning, and weaken as it reaches 
from near 24N55W to 24N65W Sun morning. Moderate northerly swell
will cause slightly higher seas off the Florida coast and near the
Bahamas.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...S of 27N, E winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, NE winds 5 to
10 kt, shifting to SW in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft in the afternoon. 
.SAT NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
