Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...1022 mb high pressure is centered over the north-
central Gulf, and will shift southeastward to the southeastern
Gulf tonight, then to well E of the Gulf by Wed. Moderate to
fresh southerly winds will develop across the western half of
the Gulf on Tue, then strengthen to strong to near gale-force
Tue night and Wed over the NW and north-central Gulf, ahead of a
frontal system that will stall across Texas. High pressure and
fresh return flow is expected across most of the basin Thu, then
over the western section and also over the central section S of
26N from Thu night through Fri night.  

.TONIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extends from the NE waters along 27N
to the NW Bahamas. The high will weaken tonight through Tue and
then reorganize NE of the Bahamas Wed. Fresh to strong SW to W
winds  are expected across the northern waters tonight through
early  Wed as a frontal system sweeps eastward across the NW
Atlantic.  The western end of that front will sink into the NE
waters late  Wed, and reach along 22N late Thu. High pressure
behind the front will act to freshen NE to E trade winds south
of 24N during this  period.

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TUE...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
