Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered over the north-central Gulf
will shift southeastward to the southeastern Gulf by Mon
evening, then to well E of the Gulf by Wed. High pressure along 
with fresh return flow is expected across most of the basin Thu, 
then over the western section and central section S of 26N from 
Thu night through Fri night.

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...S of 24N, E winds 10 kt. N of 24N, variable winds less
than 5 kt, becoming E 10 kt late. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from near 31N53W to 
27N67W will gradually dissipate through early this evening. 
Weakening high pressure is centered across the NE waters and to 
the S of the front. This pressure pattern will maintain fresh to
strong trade winds S of 22N today, then fresh winds tonight 
through Wed as high pressure weakens. Fresh to strong E winds are 
expected over the waters between the southeastern Bahamas and 
Hispaniola from Wed afternoon through the end of the week. These 
winds will seep through the Windward Passage during this time. The
tail-end of a developing cold front is forecast to emerge from NE
Florida today, and affect the northern offshore waters with fresh
to strong SW to W winds tonight through early Wed.

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 5 to 7 ft in NE to E swell. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N of

.TUE...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 15 to 20 kt
