Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Surface high pressure organizing over the north
central Gulf this afternoon will shift gradually SE through late
Tue. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will develop across the
western half of the Gulf on Tue, then strengthen strong to near
gale force Tue night into Wed night, ahead of a frontal system
that will stall across Texas. High pressure and fresh return
flow are then expected across most of the basin Thu and Fri. 

.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.MON...E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S in the afternoon. Seas
3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
.MON NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft after midnight. 
.WED...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends across the W Atlantic from 
29N60W through the northern Bahamas and Straits of Florida,
where it has stalled, and will gradually dissipate through Mon
night.  Weakening high pressure is centered across the NE waters
and south of the front. This pressure pattern will maintain
fresh to strong trade winds S of 22N through Mon, then fresh
winds Mon night  through Wed as high pressure weakens. The tail
of a new cold  front is forecast to emerge from NE Florida on
Mon morning and  affect the northern offshore waters with
moderate to fresh SW to W winds Mon night through early Wed.

10 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.MON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
