These winds will continue to diminish tonight as the front continues to move away of the region. Elsewhere winds and seas associated with the front will diminish through Sun. Surface high pressure and associated ridging will develop across the gulf on Sun providing mainly light to gentle variable winds basin-wide through Mon night. A cold front extends across the W Atlantic from 31N63W to Andros Island and Western Cuba and is moving SE. Fresh to strong trade winds will prevail S of 21N through early Mon as the high drifts NE and weakens. Fresh to strong NE winds will prevail behind the front, then gradually veer to the E and diminish through Sun evening as the front reaches from 30N55W to just N of the NW Bahamas, and then stalls. The next cold front is forecast to emerge from NE Florida on Mon morning and lift N of the area Mon night while a new center of high pressure forms to the E of the northern Bahamas.
