Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Straits of Florida to
the NE Yucatan peninsula. Strong northerly winds persist behind
the front S of 20N. These winds will continue to diminish
tonight as the front moves SE and exits the basin. Elsewhere
winds and seas associated with the front will diminish through
Sun. Surface high pressure and associated ridging will develop
across the gulf on Sun providing mainly light to gentle variable
winds basin-wide through Mon night. Moderate to fresh SE winds
will develop across the western half of the gulf on Tue ahead of
the next frontal system, becoming strong Tue night through Wed. 

.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SUN...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.MON...E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S in the afternoon.
Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft after midnight. 
.WED...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...1025 mb high pressure centered near 31N52W extends a
 ridge SW to the central Bahamas. A cold front extends across
the  Atlantic from 31N69W to the Straits of Florida and is
moving SE.  Fresh to strong trade winds will prevail S of 22N
through early  Mon as the high drifts NE and weakens. Fresh to
strong NE winds  will prevail behind the front, then gradually
veer to the E and  diminish through Sun evening as the front
reaches from 30N55W to  just N of the NW Bahamas, and then
stalls. Weak high pressure  will then prevail through early next
week.

.SUN...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to
