Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extends from SE Louisiana near
29N90W SW to Veracruz, Mexico. Strong to near gale force
northerly winds follow the front, except for gale force winds
across the Veracruz offshore waters where seas are 12 ft. Gale
force winds will spread to the Bay of Campeche into tonight. The
front will exit the basin early on Sat and winds and seas in the
wake of the front will diminish Sat night. Surface high pressure
and associated ridging will develop across the gulf on Sun
providing mainly light to gentle variable winds basin-wide
through Mon night. Moderate to fresh SE winds will develop
across the western half of the gulf on Tue ahead of the next
frontal system.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge building N of the area will allow the
continuation of fresh to strong winds S of 25N into Mon. A cold 
front will enter the waters off NE Florida late today. This will
support strong winds ahead and behind the frontal boundary, N of
28N, today through Sat as the frontal boundary moves eastward.

.TODAY...SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, SE winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, S to SW
winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SW to W 15 to 20 kt after
midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers. 
.SAT...S of 27N, E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming NE to E 15 to
20 kt in the afternoon. N of 27N, N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas
