Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The subtropical ridge located east of Florida 
extends westward into the Gulf of Mexico and will continue 
shifting eastward into Wed. Strong S winds in the NW Gulf will 
decrease to moderate to fresh this evening. The next cold front 
will emerge off the Texas coast Thu morning with strong N winds 
behind it, spreading across the western and central Gulf into 
early Sat. Gale conditions are expected near Tampico, Mexico, Thu
afternoon into evening and offshore Veracruz, Mexico, Thu night 
through Fri. Seas will build to near 17 ft by Fri afternoon. 
Conditions improve on Sat into Sun.

.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N59W to the Turks and 
Caicos and will continue moving eastward over the next couple of 
days, exiting the basin by Wed night. The subtropical ridge
positioned east of Florida will continue moving eastward over the
next couple of days. Easterly winds will increase to moderate to 
fresh Wed night into Fri, before a cold front moves across the 
region Fri night into early Sat. N-NE moderate to fresh winds and 
building seas to 7 ft are expected behind the front.
