Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will quickly build into and cross the
basin. Subsiding seas are expected across the eastern Gulf
today. In the wake of the high pressure, southerly return flow
will develop tonight in the NW Gulf, with strong S winds
expected to prevail through Tue night. The next cold front will
emerge off of the Texas coast Thu morning, likely strong N winds
behind it for the western Gulf for the end of the week. Gale
conditions are possible offshore Veracruz Thu night.  

.TODAY...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NW swell. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from near 31N69W to eastern Cuba will
move east and cross the basin through mid-week. Strong winds and
 rough seas will occur on both sides of the front, mainly north
of  25N through Tue. North of 29N, gales are expected east of
the  front through this afternoon. A building ridge north of the
area  will strengthen the trades south of 25N on Wed and Thu. 

.TODAY...NW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TUE...NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE in the afternoon.
Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
