Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh NW winds in the NE Gulf will diminish this
morning as high pressure quickly builds into and crosses the
basin. Seas of 7 to 10 ft in the eastern Gulf will also decrease
through the day. In the wake of the high pressure, southerly
return flow will develop tonight in the NW Gulf, with strong S
winds expected to prevail through Tue night. The next cold front
will emerge off of the Texas coast Thu, likely strong N winds
behind it for the western Gulf for the end of the week. 

.TODAY...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NW swell. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from near 31N71W to eastern Cuba will 
cross the basin through mid-week. Strong winds and rough seas 
will occur on both sides of the front, mainly north of 25N
through Tue. North of 29N, gales are expected on both sides of
the front  today. Rough seas will accompany these strong to gale
force winds. 

.TODAY...NW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE in the afternoon.
Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.WED...SE winds 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
