Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A 1007 mb low has moved inland over the eastern Florida Panhandle, with the associated cold front extending southward to the Yucatan Channel. This front will move SE of the area by Sun. Strong to near gale force northerly winds will dominate. Rough seas of 12 to 16 ft will encompass much of the Gulf during this time. Conditions will improve from W to E Sun night into Mon, as high pressure builds into the basin. This high pressure will move quickly E and out of the area Mon night into Tue, allowing strong to near gale SE to SE return flow to develop over the W Gulf.
