Strong N winds follow this front. Gales offshore Tampico, Mexico will propagate S to offshore Veracruz overnight, where there will persist into Sat afternoon. Sat, the low will move NE out of the Gulf while strengthening, and gales are likely to develop in the NE Gulf in its wake. Rough seas of 12 to 15 ft will be present in and near these areas of gale force winds. Elsewhere, large and long period northerly swell, with seas at 8 to 10 ft, is occurring south of 26N and east of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
