Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the northern Gulf of Mexico will
move eastward over the next few days. SE return flow will 
increase to fresh to locally strong by early Tue and persist into
Thu, strongest in the Straits of Florida and off western Cuba. A 
cold front will enter the western Gulf on Wed, and weaken and
stall over the central Gulf Thu. A stronger cold front will enter
the W Gulf Thu evening, reach from the Florida Big Bend to Veracruz 
Fri morning, and exit the basin to the southeast by early Sat.
Fresh to strong NW to N winds are likely behind the front Fri 
night into Sat.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N69W to the central
Bahamas. Winds N of 29N and east of 79W are diminishing. Fresh to
strong trade winds will develop Tue afternoon through early Thu 
south of 25N, over the Straits of Florida and Bahamas. Looking 
ahead, a cold front will move east of Florida Fri night with 
strong winds on both sides of the front.
