Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will continue building across the
basin. As the high moves E of the area, fresh to locally strong
SE to S return flow will develop Mon night into Tue, with the
strongest winds occurring in the western Gulf. Looking ahead, a
cold front will enter the NW Gulf on Wed with strong to
near-gale N winds possible behind it and quickly diminishing as
the front reaches the central Gulf late Wed into early Thu.  

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.MON...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 to 4 ft after midnight. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N48W to 26N62W, then 
transitions to stationary to 26N80W. Fresh to strong easterly 
winds behind the frontal boundary. Seas are peaking near 13 ft
to the east of the NW Bahamas. The frontal boundary is forecast
to weaken today and a new low pressure area to develop off NE 
Florida by tonight. The low pressure will move NE into NW Atlantic
and strengthen, with gale-force winds developing late tonight 
into early Mon morning N of 29N and between 65W and 75W. Winds 
will diminish below gale force by Mon afternoon. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NE to E swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, S to SW
winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to NW 10 to 15 kt after midnight.
Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.MON...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Slight chance of showers.
